| Environmental sustainability using plant protection products concerns not only the drift (distribution by wind) of these pesticides but also the point-source contamination that occurs during storage, mixture preparation, accidental spills, and the washing of sprayers and tractors.
The washing water is collected, treated, and transformed into clean, reusable water (80–90%), while the concentrate is disposed to authorized companies. Analyses show the removal of the main polluting substances, which, in the purified water, are found to be below the quantifiable limit (QL). The continuous process guarantees high operational capacity, reduced spillage, and water recovery, with systems that are easily scalable, maintainable, and remotely controllable.
