Environmental sustainability: an innovative project to reduce water use and agrochemical pollution in agriculture

AGROBOX
The Agrobox project was designed to address the point-source pollution caused by the discharge of wastewaters resulting from crop protection treatments and from the washing of tractors and sprayers—a problem of increasing significance for agricultural businesses, institutions, and consumers. The planned activities include coordination, needs assessment, design and construction of the prototype, validation through water analysis, and disclosure of results. Agrobox is expected to significantly improve the management of agricultural effluent, integrating into the operational practices of farms and ensuring high filtration effectiveness.
